I am a designer with a passion for creating thoughtful solutions.

Approach

Before tackling designs or prototypes, I need to understand who I'm designing for. Discovery activities such as leading workshops and research help inform my solutions and ensure sure I have the "why" in mind. Defining the goals and vision helps provide alignment and guidance amongst project stakeholders, making sure we’re mindful of our user and product needs.

Leveraging discovery outcomes, I’m able to start creating needed project deliverables. Throughout the process, I will review my work internally with fellow designers and developers for feedback and feasibility. I iterate and adjust based on notes or new insights that may come up, and refine my work. Once solutions have been developed, I like to review and test features to check for proper implementation. After a project goes live, I like finding opportunities to measure and improve when possible.

The following are examples of activities I’ve conducted and deliverables I’ve produced within my practice. These are scaled and tailored to the needs of each project:

  • User Interface Designs

  • Prototypes

  • Discovery Workshops

  • Information Architecture

  • QA

  • User Flows

  • Usability Testing

  • User Interviews

When I’m not working, I enjoy crocheting and have been pursuing an NN/g UX Certification in Interaction Design.
